I just bought lunch when the Sunday Hetalia gathering was held. It was still going on at 1:30 pm, at which point Pedobear decided to barge in. He even confronted one of the cosplayers: [link]

Sorry for now showing up for my shoot with you on Saturday, as I was held up in the immense crowd at the Soul Eater gathering. Also, having not eaten lunch yet, I decided it was a priority. If I had a way to contact you, I would've definitely called you to join up with me at some point.

I've also had other private shoots canceled or merged with the following ones because of the time lost walking and finding ourselves. Nevertheless, I got tons of beautiful shots with a large number of very talented cosplayers.

I've yet to get all my pics from . He has my Saturday morning and Friday evening pics on his laptop. I can't give you a final count right now, as I haven't received all my pics yet (I've been connected to him for 2 days already, downloading non-stop at max speed), but my current count is 5,000+. This beats by far my previous record of 3,100, set at G-Anime 09 back in February. I was able to go trigger-happy just because of the availability of a laptop in our hotel room (I stayed at the Doubletree).

I had a great time at AN this year. I met so many new people, and re-met many old friends. Though hectic, I had some fun at least. I had the privilege of going to the Masquerade backstage to take pictures of contestants after their skits. Usually this position is reserved to the official photographer, but since she wasn't there, I took her place! You can see all my shots here: [link]

I also hosted the Cosplay Photoshoots panel. In fact, getting my badge was so short and easy: only 2 people in line before me at the Panelist Registration Table. My panel was almost a disaster, until 2 people came in. Then 5 more people. These 7 people were my only audience, and I was talking to an empty room for about 15 mins before they got it. I held my panel in the Terrace, the solarium at the front of the DBT where the Maid Cafe was held. I had to stand on a chair to give my presentation, and had no assistance of a computer or projector. I did everything by heart, the audience was focused and interested, and everything went well at the end. I'll give again this panel at Otakuthon, the third time that I'll be a panelist.

In the end, for completing 1 panel, I got a 3/4 inch pin! It has a Momiji (AN mascot) on it.

Coordinating the Tales photoshoot with on Friday wasn't too bad. We had to move from the gathering point to a spot with better lighting, but since Tales cosplayers were popular, they were getting stopped for pictures on the way there, and we lost half of our group. XD They later joined up with us, at the pine trees near the 3 flagpoles.

The Haruhi photoshoot on Saturday was missing many "all-star" cosplayers. I was with looking for the gathering in front of TCC Entrance D, but the shoot happened at the front entrance. One of the Haruhis ran with a big sign to gather all wandering Haruhi cosplayers. In the end, only 8 cosplayers showed up at the shoot, we me as the only guy. [link] I held that pose for at least 10 mins.

The Gurren Lagann photoshoot was also held at the same place, but under the scorching sun. I was luckily dressed all in white, with long sleeves. Some people had sunburns over half their bodies.

...Oh wait, I had a sunburn too. On my left arm.

For all day Sunday, I had to haul all my gear on me. 40 lb of it. I couldn't run, couldn't sit until I dropped off some bags and stuff. The private shoots that day went well, and were mostly held at the back of the TCC, where described it as a "desert".

Returned home on Monday at 1 am. Working 5 days this week, spending most of my free time verifying the files I got from ~starlocke. I'm posting the Masquerade pics to my Photobucket since uploading them to dA would take too long. I'll upload only the best ones.

I absolutely LOVED your cosplay (and your boyfriends). XD I loved it when you guys did that kissing scene. I'm a BIG USxUK fan, so that definitely made my day.
